We are hiring a Front Desk Receptionist in Austin who will serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This vancany is essential in managing patient intake, maintaining flow, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and ensuring that every patient receives top-quality care. You'll also handle day-to-day administrative tasks to keep the medical office running smoothly.

Position: Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $22.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Rotating shifts, including early AM and PM shifts, with 2 weekend shifts per month

Key Responsibilities as Receptionist Position in Austin:

• Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Collect patient demographics and medical information
• Verify insurance and obtain prior authorizations
• Input data into Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Ensure HIPAA compliance at all times
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
• Support the team with general admin tasks and special projects

Qualifications for Front Desk Receptionist Role:

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong time management and customer service abilities
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• Calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting nearby Austin Texas
• Bilingual in Spanish (a plus, not mandatory)
